Bailey has started saying "Mum Mum". I don't think she quite associates it with me yet, but we're working on it. Sam said Mom first too, but he would only use when he was crying. Sam said Da Da just days after saying Momma, so hopefully Bailey will pick up on this one shortly.
Bailey's eating cereal, fruits, and baby crackers now. She loves to watch us eat and chew. Sam wanted a cracker and we explained to him that it's starter food for Bailey to learn. After trying some, he stated that he doesn't "like starter food". He reminded me again last night after watching Bailey eat. He does get a little upset that he can't help her eat with a spoon as he really enjoys holding her bottle for her.Bailey went to the doctor's last week for her 6 month check up. Doctor said she is doing fine. She weights 16 lbs 12 oz and was 24 1/2 inches long. This puts her at 50% for weight and 20% for height. She must have Mommy's genes. He said that she is looking great.
She also got two shots while we were there. She took it much worse than Sam used to. She cries instantly. She stopped crying to nurse, but when that was over, she wouldn't settle down till I was carrying her in her car seat. Sam was a little upset that they hurt Bailey and tried to help make her happy.
Sam just adores her. I am so proud of how good he is with her. She just loves looking at him. He'll play peek-a-boo with her, sing her Patty Cake, and loves to kiss and hold her. We got some new video of them together last night that I'll be sure to post soon.

Easter Pictures
Here is the kids' beautiful Easter picture. Bailey is wearing her new dress, and Sam is wearing Grandpa Wilson's suit from when he was little.
I must say that there weren't as many good pictures to pick through this time. This was the first time trying to get both of the kids in the same picture. Bailey did alright, but Sam was really a handful. He started off good, but it quickly went down hill. Needless to say, there were a lot more pictures of Bailey. We bribed him with a donut from Uncle Jeff (who works two offices down).
I always wonder about the parents of the kids in the studio who are running around getting in trouble. That was until my "wonderful" Sam was stacking chairs on top of the Lego table and knocking them down.
I cannot imagine what it would be like with three, four, or more?!
All in all, Sam did fine for a little boy not having all of the attention, slightly past his nap time, and two years old!Posted by The Beechers at 3:24 PM 0 comments

New Pictures
Bailey is really starting to change. She occasionally will hold her bottle now. She is grabbing toys and enjoys playing in her playpen. Here's a picture of Sam and Bailey on Sunday morning. Sam gets to watch his Mickey and Bailey doesn't mind sitting with him.

Bailey's New Pictures
Bailey got her 6 month pictures taken and of course, they turned out great. She got a lot of good pictures which made it hard to choose from.
She is getting so big and starting to get such a personality. We were watching home video of the kids from this summer and it's amazing to think how much both of them have grown in such a short time!
